Hospital Affiliations

If your child ever requires hospitalization, we will admit to UPMC Harrisburg. Once admitted to the hospital, your child's care will be administered by the physicians and staff of that hospital, for as long as your child remains a patient there. After the admission, please follow your insurance company's requirements to reduce your risk of payment problems. Then, once discharged, please follow the hospital's discharge instructions, which may require a follow-up visit with your child's physician at JDC. 

If your baby is admitted to the NICU at any hosptital, the NICU physicians and staff will see and treat your baby while there. Once you are given baby's discharge date, call us to set up your first appointment. Read more about what you need to do to enroll your newborn with us.
