Mario M. Sangillo, MD

Dr. Sangillo grew up in Cherry Hill, N.J. He attended Fairfield University in Connecticut where he earned a BS cum laude in biology. He attended Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine where he met his wife Cathy. He began his pediatric residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago where he received the "Pediatric Intern of the Year" award for meritorious service. Wishing to be closer to his family, they moved to Pennsylvania and joined residency programs at Hershey Medical Center. There he completed his pediatric training and Cathy did a family medicine residency. Dr. Jones convinced him to join their then 3-doctor pediatric practice. He has been a welcome addition since 1982. Dr. Sangillo enjoys hiking, swimming, and spending time with his family and three children. He loves the outdoors and is very interested in the environment.  Dr. Sangillo was recently honored as one of Central PA's "Healthcare Heroes" by the readers of Central Penn Parent Magazine.
