James E. Jones, M.D. (retired)
Dr. Jones is one of the founding members of JDC Pediatrics. He graduated with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania and then spent two years in the Air Force. Deciding on a career in medicine, he went back to University of Pennsylvania to attend medical school. He was an intern and pediatric resident at Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg and a pediatric resident at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Dr. Jones worked his magic at JDC with children and young adults as a general pediatrician for 35 years, retiring in 1998. During his years at JDC, he also worked at the Cystic Fibrosis Center, many of them as the director. Always thinking ahead and not one to be idle, he had a hand in reactivating the local Harrisburg-Hershey Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility and helped start the Children's Check-up Center in Harrisburg, which is still up and running today. He was also a member of the Peace Committee at his church. Dr. Jones was hugely responsible for shaping JDC into what it is today, and he is still missed by both staff and his former patients, who now have children of their own who are patients of JDC.

James F. Daly Jr., M.D. (retired)
Yes, it’s sad but true – Dr. Daly hung up his stethoscope for the last time on his 70th birthday in September 2006. He stills roams the halls in spirit and we check up on him often at home. He is spending his time visiting family, gardening, traveling and enjoying his newfound “freedom.” He says at first it was a bit of an adjustment, and the coffee didn’t taste as good at home as it did at the office, but he has now settled in and life is good. He is definitely missed but we are also very happy for him and wish him well! See you at the Christmas party, Dr. D!

Robert L. Coldren, M.D. (retired)
Dr. Coldren was born and raised in Berks County, PA; educated at Albright College in Reading and Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He came to Harrisburg in 1969 to serve his internship and residency in pediatrics at Polyclinic Hospital. He served in the United States Air Force for two years before joining Doctors James Jones and James Daly in 1974. Early in his practice he pursued an interest in diabetes management, which continues to this day. He served as Medical Director of the Harrisburg Diabetic Youth Camp for over 25 years. Dr. Coldren is well into his second generation of patients and feels privileged to be a part of the lives of these families. He takes great pleasure in watching children grow up and listening to the things they have to say. Out of the office, he loves his time spent on Cape Cod with his family where sunny days will find him working in his gardens or walking along the shore. Dr. Coldren retired in 2009 on his birthday, August 12th. He is well-missed by all.

Mario M. Sangillo, M.D.
Dr. Sangillo grew up in Cherry Hill, N.J. He attended Fairfield University in Connecticut where he earned a BS cum laude in biology. He attended Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine where he met his wife Cathy. He began his pediatric residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago where he received the Bruno Epstein award for meritorious service. Wishing to be closer to his family, they moved to Pennsylvania and joined residency programs at Hershey Medical Center. There he completed his pediatric training and Cathy did a family medicine residency. Dr. Jones convinced him to join their then 3-doctor pediatric practice. He has been a welcome addition since 1982. Dr. Sangillo enjoys hiking, swimming, and spending time with his family. He loves the outdoors and is very interested in the environment. His ideal vacation is to visit and hike in a national park. Although he will not admit it, he enjoys dancing and singing. Being very good at both, he demonstrates his talents each year at the office Christmas party to the staff’s delight.

Sandra S. Ratliff, M.D.
Dr. Ratliff attended medical school at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and completed her pediatric residency at Geisinger Medical Center. In her own words, “I became a doctor because I have always had a strong need to take care of people; as a child I cared for my brothers, babysat, and was a Candy Striper, and I am fascinated by science and the wonders of medicine.” Dr. Ratliff takes special interest in teaching families (and especially new parents) how to understand and appreciate their children, how to teach them to live a healthy life, and how to keep them safe. She says she can’t imagine doing anything else. Dr. Ratliff is married to her best friend, Dave. They have two sons, ages 24 and 22. They also have three “babies” in the house – their adorable Yorkies Molly, Micky and Mikey (try saying that three times fast or just once when they run out the front door!). She enjoys cooking, gardening, doing home repairs and traveling. Her favorite destination so far has been a Roman excavation in southern England.

H. Brad Henken, D.O.
Dr. Henken was born in Philadelphia and is still a huge Philadelphia sports fan. He attended University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he completed his Bachelors degree in Psychology. He went on to complete his D.O. at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. Dr. Henken moved to Harrisburg to complete his education as an Osteopathic intern and then continued at Hershey Medical Center for his pediatric residency. He and his wife, Angie have three teenage boys. Dr. Henken seems to have boundless energy so it is no surprise that he loves participating in any sport, “anytime, anyplace, anywhere.” He says he has gotten a lot of pleasure out of meeting so many enjoyable families during his years with JDC. Rumor has it that he’s into country music - he’s been known to change the radio station and he’s been heard singing in the lab – not bad!

Scott Setzer, a family physician. They have two boys and two dogs. Their hobbies include hiking and fishing together, reading, and any type of sports.

James E. Mosher, M.D.
Originally from New Hampshire, Dr. Mosher completed medical school at Penn State University in Hershey. Excited for a career wearing cartoon ties and “playing” all day, he pursued a pediatrics residency at the University of Connecticut. He then returned to Central PA to be with his wife, Ellen. Together they enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, listening to music, and consuming the latest Food Network experiment to hit their kitchen. They are thrilled to have recently adopted their first baby, a little girl!

Agnieszka Gradzka, M.D.
Dr. Gradzka is originally from Poland and has spent the last ten years in the United States. She attained her US citizenship in 2002 and on the day she was going to become a citizen, her daughter Ania excitedly asked her, “So are you going to talk normal now?” referring to her light polish accent. Dr. Gradzka attended University of Warsaw Medical School in Poland where she completed her MD with honors. She and her husband, Dr. Robert Gradzki, moved to the states where she completed her pediatric residency at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She served as the Assistant Director of Pediatrics and as a Clinical Instructor in pediatrics at Michigan State University. Luckily for JDC, fate drew the Gradzkis to Harrisburg where they are raising their three children. When time allows, Dr. Gradzka enjoys reading, sewing, and home decorating. She loves to travel (she visits Poland about every two years). Her family also visits yearly from Poland and yes, she knows how to make great pierogies!

Faith M. Wilt, M.D.
Dr. Wilt was born and raised in nearby Millersburg, PA. She attended medical school at Albany Medical College and returned to Central PA for residency at Hershey Medical Center. After completing her residency, she remained on staff at Hershey as Pediatric Chief Resident and Instructor for one year prior to joining JDC. One of Dr. Wilt’s mentors growing up was a local female general practitioner, Dr. Esther, who took care of most of the women and children in the Millersburg area. Dr. Wilt believes she was a great role model, having attended medical school in the days when most women didn't have the chance to get a college education or have a career. Dr. Wilt enjoys spending time with family and taking trips to the beach or camping. She is enjoying the newest addition to her family, her daughter. She also enjoys both watching and playing sports.

Dr. Ray met her husband, Brad, while they were undergrad students at Penn State and members of the University Choir. They had their first child in May 2008. Together they enjoy spending time outdoors, playing with their dog, and, of course, singing.

Dr. Love was born and raised in nearby York County and graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School. After graduating summa cum laude from Hood College, Dr. Love attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She then completed her pediatric training at the University of Virginia. Very early on (at the tender age of 10), Dr. Love decided that becoming a pediatrician was her dream job -- and she still never fails to laugh when a child asks, "Is that your real name?" She is very excited to have joined JDC Pediatrics and is happy to be returning to the central PA area. In her free time, Dr. Love enjoys spending time with family, playing with her dog, reading, traveling, and hiking.
